EZRA PAUL CRUCIANO

On the way home from the cruise (the 12 hour drive) we stopped in St. Augustine so I could meet my godson Ezra Paul Cruciano. It was so perfect Jen and Casey live right off the interstate so we stopped there for breakfast. Ezra is perfect! It's amazing how you can love something so little that isn't even yours. ha ha Jennifer is a wonderful mother and it blessed my heart to meet her son. It made me anxious for Ezra to meet his new best friend or future wife...but I guess I have to wait a few more months.

Birthday Cruise

Well it's been a very crazy few weeks. So here's an update
First- My birthday was a blast. My dear friends Debbie and Christen and I went on a weekend cruise to the BAHAMAS!! It was a nice break from the random VA weather let me tell you. As always with us no trip would be complete without a few moments of drama. To start things off the first night on the ship I went to take a shower...as I was shampooing my hair I realised it's not normal to have water up past your ankles while in the shower. I looked out the shower curtain in the entire bathroom floor was FLOODED! I turned the water off so it could drain...instead of draining out the water starting coming in along with some lovely black gunk. It was very gross and I quickly rinsed myself and jumped out of the bathroom. That isn't the end at this point the boat was rocking and even with the bathroom door shut water began to flood the floor of our room. Debbie ran to put towels down to block the water from getting on our stuff it was quite an event!!! We ended up being moved to another room...which was great because after that the floor that entire hallway stank! ha ha Other adventures consisted of Christen leaving her camera, ID, credit card, and ship card(which you need to get back on the boat) at a vender's booth in Coco Cay. Long story short a very nice security guard when back to the vender's booth and made her open it so Christen could look...and she found her things!!! We made it on the last tender back to the ship and I got very sick from the small boat bouncing on the waves. Needless to say I almost passed out. I learned a valuable lesson: 1st trimester pregnancy and cruises probably aren't the best idea. Thankful I was with two really fun easy going gals who helped me through it! The last day I burnt my legs SO BAD!!! Sun poisoning is no fun! I could not walk! I thought they were going to have to carry me off the boat. But after prayer and taking it very slow I made it off the ship!!! Here are a few pictures.

Joy has Flooded the Bush house!

For once the rumors are TRUE!
It's official people
I AM PREGNANT!!!!!
I am so excited I can hardly contain it. I am 6 weeks along....due December13th. Perfect Christmas present. We are so blessed!!!
I covet your prayers during this time. I'm not very good with shots, giving blood...doctors offices in general stress me out. So any prayers on my behalf are much appreciated!! My doctor (who I loved) moved away...so I'm in search of a new one. If anyone has any recommendations that would be fantastic.

Goodbye 25!!!

Today I'm 26!! Nothing too exciting about the year other then I'm 1 year closer to 30! For some reason I can't wait to be 30! It has been a wonderful year but I have a feeling this next year is going to be even better. I was at a women's retreat last weekend and I just felt like the Lord was saying a flood of joy was headed this way! I have lost people I loved this year and that has been hard. But God has sustained me through all of it! I feel like I stepped through a new door today and I'm looking at things totally differently. I'm not just saying I want to find joy I am living in the joy of the Lord and that is the goal of my life this year. Not to let my joy be based on circumstances around me. It's a choice to be joyful in all seasons! One day down....364 to go!

My favorite Ben!

I'm just now getting around to posting this but April 1st was my dear Ben's 1st birthday. Kristi and Matt have been wonderful friends and the addition of Benjamin to the group has added such a joy. When Kristi and I were in Kansas City Ben found some fish and he was enthralled. I decided to buy him fish for his birthday. (don't worry I asked Kristi first since she would have to take care of them). He loved them! So many of my friends have wonderful children who I love so I can't pick favorites...but I will say he is my most favorite Benjamin!! :-)
These are pictures from the hospital when Ben was born. :-)

CALL TO PRAYER!

Sad news for this Monday morning. Many of you are old school Tattercoats friends. I wanted to let you know that Saturday night Tiffany Anthony's 4 year old son Noble passed away. He has been struggling with heart problems since he was born. He had a transplant a few years ago but there were some complications recently and his body was rejecting the heart. He was in need of a new heart but instead he went home to Jesus on Saturday night. This is very sad for the entire family and I know they could really use our prayers!!! Please pray for comfort for Sam and Tiffany and all there other children. I know that Tiffany was very dear to many of us and I know she would appreciate your prayers. They are making plans today for the service. I will post the details when I get them in case anyone local would like to attend.

ROCK ON!!!!!!!!

This past weekend we celebrated my long time friend Jesse's birthday. His wonderful wife Dana bought him an Xbox 360 and the game rock band to go with it. She had a surprise party for him and we all dressed up like rock stars. It was a blast! I bought Tyson these fake tattoos and he had them all over his arms neck and even his face. They did not come off as easily as they went on. We had church the next morning so his poor face, arms and neck were RED from all the scrubbing. But it was worth it he looked hilarious. I am not usually a "video game person" but this game was a blast. I am so thankful for these people in my life. These guys and I go way back from high school and they all married awesome women who I now consider dear friends. We had a rockin time together haha I know I'm a nerd. Enjoy the pics.

That's the hottest Rock Star I have EVER seen!!!!

8 Years Together!!!

Today Tyson and I have been together for 8 years! That is amazing to me. Now that we are married we don't really celebrate our dating anniversary but it's still fun to remember, and with a day like April Fools it's not hard to forget. :-) Ty, I love you so much and I am so thankful that I get to spend the rest of my life with you! God has used you to shape me into the woman I am today. Thank you for your encouragement and correction in my life. You are my favorite person in this world! This the very first picture taken of us....haha we look SO young!
