Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was a truly relaxing and enjoyable day. We spent the night at my parents house so we could be there first thing in the morning. Sawyer enjoyed walking around saying good morning to everyone. I loved looking at my parents mantel and seeing all the stockings this year. Even though Percival hasn't joined us yet mom had his stocking hung and full of fun treats. I love how our family has grown and is continuing to grow. :-)

I tried to take a bunch of pictures this year. I didn't really get in any of them since I was the one taking them oh well. :-)

Christmas Scripture and Song

This Christmas Eve we had our long time friends over for our annual reading of the Christmas Story through Scripture and Song. We used to do this every year but it's been a few since the last time. It was wonderful to take the time to remember what the true meaning of Christmas is. The Christmas story is really powerful. Our Lord loves us so much that he sent His only son to earth for us. Even though I was raised in a Christian home and I've heard the story 100 times I still want to let the power of the message sink in afresh this year.

It was a fun night of fellowship with friends and the making of new memories through old traditions. The Dalmas family gave Sawyer a Fisher Price Nativity set. I love it! It is really cute and something he can play with each Christmas.
Christina put a Christmas bow on Sawyer's head...haha

My Katlyn is all grown up!

Christmas Part 1

Since we were going to be spending the night at my parents for Christmas Eve night we decided to celebrate our family Christmas at home on Christmas Eve. When we got up I had the stockings full and ready to go. It was fun this year with Sawyer because he seemed to enjoy opening the gifts. We didn't do a lot this year in the way of gifts but I still wanted to get a few things. Sawyer's favorite gift was this little football that I got at the Dollar Tree.

I love my husband and son so very much. I am more blessed than I could ever deserve. God has been so faithful and kind to us. My heart is so full of thankfulness for His goodness in my life.

Winter Wonderland!

My mom, dad, Ty and I took Sawyer to the Winter Wonderland display in Portsmouth. I wasn't sure how into it Sawyer would be but he ended up LOVING it. All the little moving people were the perfect size for him to see. He enjoyed watching the trains go round and round. It's so much fun watching Sawyer play with my dad. He really thinks grandpa is the best. :-)
Sawyer really is enjoying his ability to walk and he is almost running now. We went next door to the Children's Museum next door. There was this one floating ball that he was amazed by. I guess like all babies at this age any balloon or floating ball is fascinating.
