1st Haircut!!

Well it was time and I finally did it. Or rather I had Adrienne do it. Sawyer's hair is now out of his eyes. I debated on whether or not to cut all the dark hair off so we could get to the blonde...but in the end I decided to just have her trim the sides and the front. He was already the cutest thing but now he's even cuter! I love his little face and now he looks like such a big boy.

I took some before, during and after photos. And yes I videoed the entire thing and I saved a little piece of his baby hair.

Here are the before shots.

The after shot. The first one is a little blurry but his smile was so stinkin cute. I think he was proud of his new look.

My baby brother is married!!!

Saturday, July 11, 2009 we added another member to our family. Jesse married the sweetest girl and I am thrilled to have another girl in the family. The wedding was in my parents back yard and it was beautiful. My dad performed the ceremony and he did a great job. He only got choked up a few times.
Here are some of the pictures. They aren't in order but here they are.

7 Months

Well my baby is seven months! I have been so bad about keeping up with my blog....nevertheless life is still happening. So here is a quick run down of the things Sawyer has been up to. He's looking so tall. At his 6month check up he was in the 93rd % for height and he gets taller all the time. I was worried for a while that he wasn't gaining enough weight but the dr. said he's just tall and thin but not under weight. He's been rolling over for a while but now he will actually stay on his belly after he rolls. Forever he hasn't wanted to be on his belly but now all the sudden he is sleeping on his stomach and playing. He's also been sitting up on his own for a while but his balance is getting better all the time. Sawyer always loves to be in the standing position. When we were in South Carolina Kristin gave him an activity table. He loves it. He can stand and hold on and play with the toys. It's hard for me because he wants to be standing all the time. Since he can't fully balance himself I have to spend a lot of time holding him up. :-) He walks a tiny bit while holding our hands and he LOVES jumping. The dr. said he may go straight to walking since he doesn't like being on his belly...but now that he is spending more time on his stomach I'm hoping he will crawl first. He is getting more fun all the time and now he is actually playing with us. When I look at him sleeping in his bed he looks HUGE! It's amazes me all the time how fast he is growing up. He is pulling himself up on things too. He can pull himself up in his crib!! I need to move the mattress down before he flips out of it. He is still the sweetest baby. Laughing all the time, and he gets this proud look on his face like"see what I can do". :-) The last few nights have been rough. He is pushing a few teeth through and it's been hard. I hate feeling like there isn't anything I can do. I'm just praying those little teeth pop through soon.

He loves the dino Tyson bought him He grabs it and will actually wrestle with it. So cute!

He still loves swimming! My dad has a blast taking him in the pool. It cracks me up how he loves the water.

Road Trip

Last week Sawyer and I drove to South Carolina with Kristi and her boys (including bear the dog). We went to visit Kristin and her wonderful family. It was a blast! All together there were 7 kids. Owen (Kristin's 4 year old) loved Sawyer. They had a blast playing together. It's so fun to watch Sawyer interact with the other kids. The drive was 7 hours but all three boys did great in the car.

We went to the amazing Children's Museum. The kids had a blast!
