Tyson's family came all the way from Thailand to meet Sawyer. We had a fantastic time with them. Sawyer was so happy to meet everyone.

They were here for Easter so we colored eggs together. Andrew had never done it before and even though Sawyer is too little to enjoy it I still wanted to do it together.

One afternoon we went down to the beach (Sawyer's first time at the oceanfront).

We had a blast with everyone here and we were sad to see them leave. We'll see them again soon. :-)

Match Made in Heaven

Sawyer and my dad together makes my heart so full. My dad has wanted to be a grandfather for so long. Sawyer is the perfect answer to his prayers. Watching my dad play with Sawyer is the best!!! My dad will just giggle at the baby and it cracks me up watching a 54 year old man giggle. They have good times together exploring. My dad loves walking him around and showing him things. Now the weather is nice they are checking out the great world outside.

Sweetest Boy

Sawyer continues to grow and I love him more all the time. I really enjoy spending our days together and I am so blessed that I am able to stay home with him. He is still talking all the time and his laugh is SO CUTE. He will belly laugh like he really thinks something is funny.
He has been grabbing at things lately. Last night he grabbed his own hair. He couldn't figure out how to let it go...poor kid just started screaming as he pulled his fistful of hair. It was really funny. He is losing a lot of hair on the sides of his head and the new hair growing in is so blonde you can hardly see it. I am thrilled because I think he's going to have white blonde hair like Ty.
He's also been drooling non stop. He loves chewing on his hands and anything he is holding :-) Teeth are in his near future.

Baseball Fan

My Aunt Diane sent Sawyer a St. Louis Cardinals Tshirt. He was so cute in it I had to find him a little hat to go with it. He is the cutest baseball player I've ever seen. thanks Aunt Diane for the sweet package. It was such a fun surprise! My first package in the mail to our new house. :-)

Monday afternoon our dear friends Matt and Kristi's new addition arrived. Gabriel Stephen Ruckel was 8 lbs 3 oz. Tyson, Sawyer and I were able to be there in the waiting room when he arrived. What a special event to be present for. We are loving little Gabe already!! Even though Sawyer slept through the entire thing it was fun for me to have him there when his new friend arrived. :-) Sawyer seems so big to me now. Everyone always says that but holding him up next to Gabe was unreal. I can only imagine how Kristi feels about Ben (can't believe he is almost 2!)
