3 Months

Today Sawyer conquered the bumbo seat. I can't believe he is sitting up. He looks so big these days. Still talking all the time and smiling more and more. He has found his right hand and is constantly chewing on it. He finds his thumb sometimes but I'm still not sure if he is going to be a thumb sucker. I'm so blessed to have such a sweet and happy baby boy. I spend my days constantly laughing at his cute noises and funny faces. He is the happiest baby and he brings so much joy into our home!!!

New Trick

The last few weeks Sawyer has really loved looking at people and "talking". I started sticking my tongue out at him to make him laugh...well soon enough he started doing it too. He loves sticking that baby out and then he lets out a little giggle. It's like a new discovery...he likes licking things now too. He just started noticing his hands. He's not sure exactly how and why they work but he can see them. The other day I was cleaning the bathroom and I had him sitting in the hall on the boppy...all the sudden he lets out a loud scream...I didn't know what happened...a few hours later he had a little bit of a black eye I think he punched himself in the face...he did it again later that night...haha poor baby was so excited about his hands he knocked himself in the eye. I think he is learning how to control it now though because he hasn't done it again since. :-)

Jesse babysat him the other day for the first time. I had a few meetings at work and I needed to leave him for a little while. Jess did a great job and Sawyer really does seem to know him. Here are a few pics of him talking to Kelly and Jesse.

Tyson's parents bought Sawyer this play matt to lay on and he LOVES it. He will lay there and kick his leggs to the music. Thank you Mimi and Poppie for the GREAT Christmas present he is really loving it.

2 Months

Sawyer had his 2 month appointment on the 6th and he is 25 inches long and 12 lbs 5 oz. He's in the 96th percentile for height. He had to get his first shots :-( It was really hard for me. Tyson came with us and luckily no one passed out...ha ha I did cry the entire time but I hear that's normal. I'll do better next time. Sawyer did fine he took the shots like a man... cried a tiny bit and was over it and back to his happy self.

He is quite the talker...it's really funny he makes noises and grunts like he's carrying on a conversation. He loves to be the center of attention.

We have been trying to put him on his tummy more so he can work his neck muscles...he does great. Here are a few pics of tummy time.

WE MOVED!!! :-)

We moved into our house this weekend and tonight is our first night sleeping there!!! I'm tired but really happy to be in my home. The Lord is FAITHFUL!
Sorry as always for the overdue updates but I promise the rest of the house pictures and a Sawyer update when I can get some real internet time.

Sweet Boy

Sawyer is growing all the time. As I watch him sleep I realize how fast he is going to grow up. I know moms are always saying that time flys and I can already see it happening. I am really trying to live in the moments of each day and enjoy the snuggles I'm getting. He was sleeping in my lap the other night and I snapped these pictures. His little cheeks are so kissable. Tyson and I love him more and more all the time. :-)

Special Delivery

Random fact about me...I LOVE getting mail. One of my favorite things is going to the mail box each day and seeing what's inside. Tyson knows how much I love opening letters and packages he even lets me open stuff that comes for him. :-)

About a week and a half ago I was doing my daily run to the mailbox and I saw a yellow envelope...hurray something other than bills and junk mail! :-)

Tyson's aunt Jane mailed us some pictures of Tyson's dad when he was young and an amazing picture of his parents on their wedding day with both sets of his grandparents. For those of you who know me well you know how much I love my pictures. These pictures are priceless. I didn't have any pictures of Tyson's grandpa and grandma Bush. I was so blessed! I never had the privilege of meeting grandma and grandpa Bush so seeing the pictures was special for me to see that side of the family. Tyson's other grandparents (his mom's side) are pictured in the wedding photo and it made me miss them. Tyson's grandpa Finch passed away the summer after we were married and his grandmother passed away last year. They were wonderful to Tyson and I and we always enjoyed our visits to Alabama to see them. They are greatly missed.

Thank you SO MUCH Aunt Jane for sending us these photos! I was blessed beyond words.

New Years

Well it's been so long since I have updated... not having Internet makes my blogs fewer than I would like. But here are some pictures from New Years. Dana had a fancy new years party at her house. Sawyer got dressed for the occasion. He was a hit in his little suite. In these pictures he was almost 4 weeks old. At his 3 week Dr. appointment he was 9lbs 9 oz and 21 inches long. Now he is almost 6 weeks old and he's getting bigger all the time. :-) Enjoy the pictures hopefully my next update will not be so far off.
